With the introduction of the Computer Assisted Design/Computer Assisted Manufacture (CAD/CAM) system by CEREC, the entire process is completed in one visit. CEREC technology allows us to make your permanent crown while you wait in our comfortable office.

Your dentist will use a computer to design the final shape of your crown. The computer provides the information to a milling station which then uses industrial grade diamonds to carve your crown from a ceramic block. The manufacture of the crown only takes about 10 – 20 minutes.

When complete, your dentist will bring the fresh work of art to you and permanently adhere it to your tooth. You can leave our office with your brand new crown already in place, with no need to come back until your next check-up.
